Founding Dean for Innovation in Teaching and Learning

Established in 2019–2020, the Dean’s Office for Innovation in Teaching and Learning serves as Tel Aviv University’s strategic academic arm for advancing teaching and learning. Prof. Liat Kishon-Rabin serves as the Founding Dean, leading pedagogical innovation, digital learning, and the integration of learning technologies in response to the evolving educational landscape of the information era.

South Tel Aviv School is a Model for Language Intervention

TAU researchers, led by Prof. Liat Kishon-Rabin, developed a community-based language intervention program for children of immigrants and foreign workers at Bialik-Rogozin School in South Tel Aviv. Through group and individual sessions with clinicians and university students, the program supports language acquisition, communication skills, and academic success, helping children overcome linguistic and educational barriers associated with multilingual and disadvantaged backgrounds.

'Together': the multi-professional course for developing teamwork

Together is a mandatory multi-professional course at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine that brings together students from medicine and the health professions to promote teamwork and a holistic, patient-centered approach to care. Through interprofessional learning, the course fosters collaboration, mutual understanding, and essential skills for effective diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation in modern health care.
